What does a suspended payroll contribution mean?
Updated over 10 months ago

If Guideline is unable to collect 401(k) contributions from your employer, any associated transaction will show as “suspended” in your account. When this happens, Guideline will work with your employer to remediate the failure as quickly as possible. While we understand that this can be concerning, Guideline cannot make any changes to the plan's account to update the bank information, and we must depend on your employer to resolve this matter.

After the issue has been resolved, contributions will be allocated in your Guideline 401(k) account within 5-7 business days. The contribution for the affected pay date will be visible in your Recent Transactions tab within your participant dashboard.
