If you need to change your name within your Gusto IRA, you must provide Gusto with documentation to verify the request. You will not be able to make this change within your dashboard due to security reasons.
Here are the documents we’ll need to support your name change:
An up-to-date color copy of a government-issued ID (a driver’s license or state ID card is preferred, but a passport is also acceptable).
If you were recently married and your ID has not yet been updated, please share a copy of your marriage certificate.
To share these documents with Gusto Retirement, access the Documents page from the main menu, then click on the Shared files tab.
Once uploaded, please contact our participant support team to let us know you’ve shared the required information and would like to update your name. To help expedite your request, please also include your date of birth and retirement account ID for verification purposes.
