An introduction to your new Guideline 401(k) dashboard

What you can expect and how to navigate to key features in your new dashboard — coming early 2025.

Updated this week

We’ve been hard at work revamping the Guideline 401(k) dashboard to bring you a more streamlined and intuitive experience. The redesigned dashboard will be coming your way by early 2025.

Here’s what you can expect and how to navigate to key features.

Highlights of the new Guideline dashboard

Redesigned homepage

The new homepage of your dashboard provides a clear overview of your balances, contributions, portfolio assets, transactions, and notifications, so you can see all your important plan details in one place.

A unified experience

If you have more than one 401(k) with Guideline, you’ll no longer need to switch between accounts to view your savings or make changes. Instead, you’ll have access to all your plans in one, unified account.

The unified homepage will now display your combined balances, contributions, and transactions. You’ll also be able to easily toggle between plans to make changes to details, like contributions, portfolio selections, and settings.

Reorganized navigation

The main menu has been moved to the left side of your dashboard and reorganized to help you find important pages quickly. From the menu, you can make plan selections for your contributions, portfolio assets, and transfers (for rollovers and distributions).

Notification center

The notifications and task center will let you know when you need to take action or review essential plan documents.

New contributions page

The Contributions page, accessible from the left navigation, is where you can choose how much to contribute to your traditional and Roth 401(k). You can easily view your per-payroll contributions, employer contributions, as well as your projected total for the year.

If you have more than one employer-sponsored retirement account, you can also report outside contributions at the bottom of this page. Tracking external contributions can help you avoid overcontributing above IRS limits.

Documents and files

The new Documents section is where you can find essential plan documents, such as annual and quarterly statements, tax files, plan disclosures, and terms of service.

Additionally, the Shared files section is a secure way to share items with our Customer Success team.

Settings

We’ve separated your personal and plan settings, making it easier to view your details and make changes.

  • Personal settings: View and edit your contact information, beneficiaries, and security features, such as your password and two-factor authentication.

  • Plan settings: Review plan info, such as your account number, vesting schedule, and any applicable employer contributions.

Take a tour

We'll be rolling out the new dashboard over the next several weeks. In the meantime, we welcome you to take a tour of what's to come.

As we make this transition to the new experience, your dashboard may temporarily appear different from what’s referenced in some Help Center articles. Rest assured, you can always contact us if you have questions.
